Live at 5 Coming to Truro

Truro’s Victoria Park will be a hive of activity late Friday afternoon (July 20) as Central Nova Tourism Association prepares to Host CTV’s popular show “Live at 5” for a 1-hour live remote broadcast.  Area residents can catch a glimpse of their favorite local television personalities and are encouraged to come out to the park to welcome the show from 4:30pm-6pm.

“This is a great opportunity to promote the Town and all of the wonderful things that the area has to offer,” says Devin Trefry, Marketing Director with Central Nova Tourist Association.  “The Town has had a lot of exciting new developments in recent years and we have a huge slate of events to promote this summer.  We’re really looking forward to the opportunity to share this with the show’s significant Maritime audience.”
The live remote broadcast is part of a series being held across the province coordinated by the Tourism Division of the NS Economic and Rural Development and Tourism in partnership with the province’s regional tourism industry associations.  Organizers are hopeful that residents in each host community will come out to show their support and enthusiasm for these special broadcasts.
