Annual Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival

Once again Central Nova Tourist Association is assisting with the coordination of the Annual Wild Blueberry Harvest Festival celebrating Nova Scotia’s Provincial berry!  The festival will take place from Aug. 17^th – Sept. 1 with the official kick-off “Truro’s Wild Blueberry Jam” being held on Friday August 17th.  During the festival communities throughout the region will host a variety of events from community dinners, farmers markets, u-picks and quilt fairs, to pie eating competitions, live music, dessert parties and more.

In addition to numerous community events the festival will also feature “Taste of the Festival” restaurants serving a variety of special blueberry menu items all festival long.
